Solution Gaps for the Start Up Community & Market Imperatives for Healthcare

In the age of the customer all of healthcare is shifting to the consumer. Four market imperatives must be considered by the healthcare administrator or provider to help change consumer behavior so that the consumer will optimize their health.

  • Underlying it all is the data and the insight and evidence that can be gained from truly operating on the vast amount of information that has been digitized in the ecosystem.
  • The digital disruptions taking place throughout our environment from the broad adaptation of social streams to the use of genomic information in therapy -the presence of more profound relationship to our digital environments is driving change.
  • The mobile mind shift is changing our relationship to the network and information access and driving m-health at a rapid rate.
  • The need for uniform digital strategies to assist the customer / member / patient in their journeys is imperative to create the environment of patient responsibility so that we can reduce cost and have more healthy populations.

This talk will focus on defining these market imperatives for the healthcare market, and identify product gaps within them.
